15^th Conference on Educational Assessment

Submissions are welcome in three formats: symposium, paper and poster. Abstracts are submitted electronically by uploading them to the conference website. One participant may be a first author of no more than two presentations. In addition, one participant may act once as a chairperson of a symposium and once as a discussant. One paper (presented either at a symposium or a thematic session) or one poster may have no more than five authors.

 

Symposium sessions are organized by a chairperson, involve three or four presenters and one discussant, who is also nominated by the symposium organizer. A symposium is scheduled for one and half hours, and is comprised of three or four presentations followed by feedback from the discussant and an open discussion with the audience. Symposium proposals are submitted by the chairperson. Contributors of the symposia should register for the conference before submission. The review notification will be sent only to the chairperson of the symposium, who in turn should inform the presenters and discussant.

 

Papers are organized by the Scientific Programme Committee into thematic sessions. A paper session is scheduled for one and a half hours, usually with four or five presenters. Presenting authors have approximately 15 minutes for their presentation plus time for discussion with the audience. Thematic sessions are moderated by a chairperson appointed by the Scientific Programme Committee.

 

Posters can be presented in poster sessions organized by the Scientific Programme Committee. A poster session is scheduled for 90 minutes. It consists of 8 to 10 posters. Each presenting author is expected to give an approximately five minute oral presentation about their poster. This is followed by opportunity for individualized, informal discussions with interested attendees. Poster sessions are moderated by a chairperson appointed by the Scientific Programme Committee. Poster boards and materials for fixing to the board will be provided. The allocated space per poster is 150x150cm.
