The event titled “Results of the Research Programme for Public Education Development between 2021 and 2025” was held on 3 December 2025 at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the event was to present the main outcomes of the four-year research programme and to outline further research directions supporting the development of public education. Two research groups affiliated with the Institute of Education reported on the results they have achieved so far: the MTA–SZTE Reading and Motivation Research Group led by József Fejes, and the MTA–SZTE Digital Learning Technologies Research Group led by Gyöngyvér Molnár.

During the event, certificates were also awarded to the winning research groups of the next funding cycle, four of which are affiliated with our Institute:
